Do you know what I discovered while putting this mix together? There are a lot of really bad songs about animals out there.

What are your most (or least!) favorite songs about animals?

  1. great redesign!...first time seeing it.

I'm reflecting on how four favorite songs of man are indeed animal songs and what that means (4-6, 13)

I like Joe Cocker's Bye, Bye Blackbird as another animal song option and while not a favorite, my daughter watched Mary Poppin's this afternoon and Julie Andrew's "Feed the Birds" is fresh in my head :)

    Here are a couple:
The Fox-Nickel Creek (I think I had one of their songs last time too:))
    A Horse With No Name-America
Black Horse And The Cherry Tree-KT Tunstall (I know, I know...2 horse songs. I can't decide)
    Three Little Birds-Bob Marley
    I'll Fly Away-Alison Krauss

    More mixtapes please!!

  3. Brian, you're getting pretty deep on me! Thanks for the comments on the re-design...I'm still working out some kinks, but I'm grateful Blogger finally updated/expanded their template options. I'm not knowledgeable enough to write my own code, but too cheap to pay someone else to do it! :)
Casey, thanks for always joining in the fun! I'll have to check out the Nickel Creek song--I've never heard it. You're always good for extending my musical selections into the current millenium! :) So when are you going to guest DJ on my blog?
