Changing the World, One (Somewhat Reluctant) Tweet at a Time

Martin Luther said, “If you want to change the world, pick up your pen.”

If Luther were alive today, he might’ve said, “If you want to change the world, pick up your keyboard/cell phone/video camera.”

That’s why I started blogging in the first place: I want to change the world. (That, and it really helps me sort out my own thoughts.)

And that’s also why I’m back on Twitter. Even though I griped and whined and complained about it when I tried it two years ago, and eventually quit tweeting altogether in dramatic fashion.

I guess I was hoping that Twitter would kind of die off and I could just ignore it. But I can’t get around the fact that the opposite has happened: Almost all the world-changers I know are on Twitter.

And I want to be among them.
